CONTEXTU(AI) focuses on aesthetic curation by leveraging regional and brand aesthetics, using social media data and diffusion models to generate AI-driven architecture design. This approach has been applied to design Ducati's flagship stores in three different cities: Bangkok, Taipei, and Los Angeles. This project scrapes data from social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Flickr, focusing on posts with relevant hashtags and location tags to collect top posts. The method refined raw data to generate impactful visual and architectural designs.
BANGKOK
The flagship store in Bangkok is situated in the Talat Noi area, known for its ship dismantling history. To generate a ground-up project, this design method involves using an AI model to generate 3D design models from 2D images.
TAIPEI
Taipei's flagship adaptive reuse project is located in the Datong area, a district blending modern and traditional elements. The design preserves the original building structure and elements while incorporating new facades.
LA
The flagship interior design project is located in The Grove, an open-air shopping and entertainment complex in LA. This design integrates a social media database with photos of DUCATI parts to create an arcade game featuring a DUCATI motorcycle.
